“Get Down” depicts Black 1970s dancers, feeling fly and feeling themselves. Inspired by the famous Ernie Barnes artwork “The Sugar Shack”, the artwork is energised by the rhythm of Motown.

The artwork is a fine art print and is available in A4, A3 and A2. The A4 prints are limited edition art prints of 5, printed on watercolour paper. A3, A2, A1 and A0 prints are available to order.

Print specifications

Natural white cotton watercolour paper akin to traditional etching paper.  The paper is cotton based, unbleached and made to museum archival specifications. The inks used are premium quality Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigmented inks. These inks are remarkably stable and under normal  conditions will not fade for 100 years and beyond.
