What is community?

What does it mean for us to commune?

How do we want to commune?

Artists Birungi Kawooya and Lesley Asare invite you to share space, experiment and creatively explore the themes of Community, Play and Rest alongside them through the expressive arts.

Held by a reflective soundscape, we will explore the wisdom within our breath and bodies through gentle movement, create a large collective mural using a variety of materials and African print fabrics and will explore what Community, Play and Rest looks like to us.
